Pliers

Pliers

Jewelry pliers is a category containing one of the basic tools in a handicraft workshop. The equipment of your workshop depends of course on the technique in which you create your works. However, almost every technique requires tools, even as basic as scissors or a lighter. However, our experience shows that a set of pliers in the workshop is a good idea, even if you do not plan to use them every day.

Jewelry pliers in the manzuko offer

You may wonder how jewelry pliers differ from the classic pliers found in most toolboxes. First of all, jewelry and craft pliers have different tips, which allows you to perfectly match the tool to the type of work. What's more, jewelry tools are often slightly smaller, have more delicate handles, thanks to which they lie more comfortably in a woman's hand.

In addition, we decided that our pliers will stand out in color, which is why most of our tools have pink handles. We wanted our pliers to please the eye and be simply pretty. What's more, you will find tools in the mini version, which is ideal for young people who will find them more comfortable in the hand.

Types of pliers in our store

Ring crimping pliers

As the name suggests, these pliers are designed for optimal clamping of assembly rings. These pliers have recesses of various sizes, which makes it easier to tighten the rings.

Wide flat pliers

These are basic tools with a wide, smooth and flat tip. They are perfect for holding semi-finished products, as well as for clamping elements such as clamping balls or grippers. Thanks to the smooth surface, no scratches remain on the clamped findings.

Concave-round pliers

This type of pliers has a long handle, which works well when you need a long range of motion. Thanks to the elongated handle, we save the wrist during work. These pliers have one part rounded, tapering towards the tip, and the other concave. They are perfect for wrapping wires, creating eyelets and all kinds of hooks and squiggles.

Stork's claws

Their name refers to the stork's long and rather flat beak. They work well in the assembly of clamping balls and catchers. What's more, they are perfect for holding elements during assembly or threading. Of course, they will also work well with mounting wheels.

These pliers are available in elongated, shorter and bent versions. The elongated version requires a bit more practice as it is harder to control what happens at the end of the pliers. On the other hand, shorter tools are equipped with an additional guillotine for cutting straps, wires and steel cords. The curved tip of the last type of stork pliers allows a greater range of motion when creating precise designs.

Round pliers

Round-nose pliers have tips tapering towards their tip. These are the perfect tools for someone who works a lot with wire or jewelry pins.

Nipper pliers

These tools have a short tip made of two parts. The fragment closer to the handle is the cutting guillotine described above. Above it is the flat surface of the pliers covered with small notches. Pincers are best for holding items in place. Their grooved surface means that crimping balls with them poses a risk of scratching the surface of the finding.

Cutting pliers

In our store you will find two types of cutting pliers. Both are suitable for cutting jewelry wire, shortening pins, cutting steel cords and straps.

Multi-purpose pliers

These versatile tools combine elements of nose pliers, flat nose pliers and clippers. It is an excellent choice for someone who rarely uses tools or is just completing his workshop. Their rounded tips are suitable for wrapping and twisting wire, however, they will work in any job, although they may not be the most comfortable. The flat part of these pliers allows you to clamp balls and catchers, and also makes it easier to hold some elements. The inner part of these pliers is used for cutting, suitable for working with straps, ropes and wire.
