Obsidian is a natural glass formed as a result of the cooling of volcanic lava. This rock is very common and can take many colors depending on the type of lava and its components. Iridescent obsidian, i.e. the so-called rainbow obsidian that shimmers beautifully in shades of gold, green, navy blue and purple.
