Sunstone beads, 6mm diameter balls. Sunstone is the common name for aventurine feldspar. Although it occurs naturally in Poland, it is a mineral with generally very rare occurrence. It often has infiltrations of other minerals, e.g. hematite, which intensifies the impression of stone flickering. Once used by the Vikings in navigation, today it is mainly used in jewelry and is used in the stone and carving industries.
